During the launch of the Galaxy S7 | S7 Edge, D.J. Koh (Samsung’s head of mobile) has announced that these smartphones will be available with 32GB of internal storage space only. He mentioned that these devices are capable of supporting external storage drives up to 200GB. So it will be enough storage space for a smartphone. He also mentioned that Samsung might come up with a new version of Galaxy S7 | S7 Edge with a larger internal storage space.
With the launch of Galaxy Note 7, Samsung again decided to stick to the 64GB version only. This made most of the users to opt the Galaxy Note7. Now as the Galaxy Note 7 is dead, Samsung has announced a 128GB version for the Galaxy S7 Edge. This phone is not available in all the countries including US, Korea, Brazil or any of the larger markets of Samsung. However, this 128GB version of Galaxy S7 Edge (Model number: SM-G935FTKD) is available in India. Also now it has 4GB of RAM.
This phone is available with a new color (Black pearl) and the shipment of the phone has already started from January 24, 2017. This costs around Rs.56,900.00 in India. Almost all the feature of this phone is same compared to the previous version such as seamless unibody design with dual curved edge display, water resistant (IP68), dual SIM holder (India version), Octa-Core processor, Dual-pixel 12MP rear camera, 3600mAh battery with fast charging ability.
You can purchase this phone from Samsung India official website or from other online retailers. Though Samsung says this phone has an expandable storage up to 200GB, you can actually use the Samsung EVO Plus 256GB Micro SD card in this phone. So you can get a total of 384GB of storage space in this phone.
